Why cheer for Glencoe?
Cheerleading is a high intensity sport that teaches athletes confidence, respect, integrity and teamwork. Glencoe Cheer will provide athletes with meaningful experiences that will shape them into well rounded athletes and positive contributors to our community. Being part of a team will teach your child essential life skills and build respectable character. Glencoe Cheerleaders have many positive experiences within the Glencoe campus, the community, and within Oregon cheerleading. Athletes can expect to be involved in pep assemblies; and school functions like freshman welcome day, recruiting events, halftime performances, Friday Night Football games, fundraisers, community service events.. and more! Athletes can represent their school and show off their tumbling, jumping, stunting and dancing skills at local, national and State competitions. Our team represents the Tide at the OSAA State Cheerleading Championships every February - where they most recently placed 4th in the state.
